The History of the New Scale Motorcycles |
For the first time two "New Scale" machines are together on the same run. Number 146 on the left of our picture is a 1919 "Scale" 350c.c. precision, ridden by Matthew J. Scale the Great Grandson of Henry John. This is the first time this machine has undertaken a distance run since its restoration. To the right of the picture is Mark L. Scale also the Great Grandson of Henry John who rode this 1924 350 c.c. Bradshaw "New Scale" which didn't finish in the 2006 Banbury Run when it had its sidecar attached. |
