The Two speed Sturmey Archer greabox

Here we see the Sturmey Archer two speed gearbox completely restored ready for use.

Famous for more than a century Sturmey Archer gearboxes have always been leaders in bicycle hub gear design.

In the early years they also produced gearboxes and engines for motorcycles.

Because of their reliability and high standard of manufacture is possibly why Henry John Scale chose their gearboxes for his early New Scale models.
