Looking at the headstock you can see two holes cut through, this we understand was where it was attached to some kind of framework when the engine was used to power the mechanical hare at a greyhound track somewhere in the Midlands decades before being purchased by the previous owner. Looking at the front of the fuel tank a green diamond shaped transfer can be made out, This is the logo of Roberts & Hibbs of Manchester who were with the Company for a short while.
